Bonsai (also written bonsai) originates, which is not much known in China. Generally speaking, it is considered to be a Japanese technique for growing miniature trees, but the Japanese have taken it from the Chinese to sometime in the 6th century, but have further improved this technique and transferred it to the artistic level. Bonsai started to talk about bonsai more seriously and write since the 1960s, Bonsai club Prague was founded in 1980.
Bonsai to the apartment
We can get bonsai in several ways. We can grow them from seeds, cuttings or saplings, we can look for them on the rocks, but we can buy them in the shop and at the e-shop, or from a grower. The first way is lengthy because a good bonsai is created by constant care over several years, even for one or more decades. So if we want to have the splendor at home, we have to get it done already.
Bonsai division
We can divide the bonsai according to many aspects, in the basic division into the outdoor and the room. Outdoor use those that can live in our climate zone because they would not survive in the interior. Trees from warmer climatic zones are grown as a room. Depending on the size, minibonsis are up to 8 cm, miniature up to 15 cm, small to 30 cm, medium to 60 cm and up to 90 cm or up to 120 cm. However, the rates are indicative. Bonsaje is divided according to style, but we will not deal with it, it is not so important, just so much that it depends on the number of trunks, arrangement of branches and roots, planting of trees, accessories and the like. It is further divided according to tree species, flowering and non-flowering and according to other rather technical criteria. The bonsai also creates different sceneries.
Why bonsai to the apartment?
The higher the quality of the bonsai, the more it reminds nature. It’s nature, basically, but the artist’s art is to adjust the bonsai to an interesting shape, mostly so that it looks older than it really is. And just as well processed wood becomes a real adornment of the apartment, the room. It’s a plant, so it’s not just a visual edge, it’s also about cleaning and humidifying the air.
he bonsai has not yet become the traditional decorative complement of our households, even though their price is not dizzy. And it’s a pity, because a suitable location, depending on the plant, as much as light requires, can give the room a completely different character. Using several suitable bonsai, we can even approach nature in even modern homes or inspire oriental character.
Bonsai care
Since the very beginning, Bonsaje has been steadily guided in its growth. It needs to be continued so that the bonsai does not lose its character. Experts have strict rules, others can keep the bonsai. First of all, it is the location of the bonsai, not so much from the shadow, not in the polluted position. It needs to be regularly watered, preferably through a bowl and roots, or inserting the entire root ball into the water. In order not to supply calcium to the plant, the water is boiled and cooled. At the time of vegetation it can be fertilized, in September especially by potassium. Calcium can be eliminated by adding peat to the clay. Bonsai is best sliced and sharpened in spring, similar to the trees in the garden, otherwise it will tend to grow like any other tree. Here, however, it is not possible to give general advice because it depends on the species. Perhaps the front branches are removed to give a good view of the plant trunk and its overall appearance. Bonsai does not grow to height or even sides, branches should not touch near the trunk. If we cut the bonsai, we will repeat the next treatment at least two months later. A big problem can happen in the winter because many types of bonsai require cold storage, for example in a panel house.
